Trust

Trust is something that is built,
Over time from being reliable & true,
A mutual feeling between two people,
A dependence on what you say or do,
It’s the glue that holds a friendship together,
On which confidence is placed,
It shows you are committed to each other,
Without it we can be two-faced,
It’s important in a relationship,
To have a mutual trust,
If we do not lie to each other,
Then the bond will be robust,
When you believe in another person,
With all your heart not to stray,
It is a precious value within us,
That can easily be taken away,
If someone betrays your trust,
Loyalty is gone, as is respect,
It can’t be forgotten or mended,
Broken trust you cannot reconnect,
Being true to somebody’s feelings,
And taking time to care,
It should not be with expectations,
But something we have to share,
I am always honest,
If you are the same with me,
You can trust me with your heart,
With good will and integrity.
Respect

Respect is not all about you,
It’s about someone else,
Showing that you honour them,
In high regard, your feelings to express,
A courteous concern of peoples feelings,
With a an element of praise,
It can be a positive expression,
A keen admiration of their ways,
Sincere friendship & appreciation,
Think highly of those you respect,
Everyone you have known & ones you don’t,
It shows that you are willing to connect,
If someone shows respect to you,
Show them exactly the same,
You have to share your time,
With generosity, that is the aim,
In love, it is one of those values,
That should always be there,
No relationship can survive,
If there’s no respect to share,
We need to be respectful,
To each other no matter what,
If there is no respect between you,
A friend you have not got,
I will tell you that I fully respect,
Everyone that I meet,
Massive respect to my family,
And friends that I love & yet to greet.

Loyalty

One of the strongest values,
It is to possess and to show,
An utmost and true allegiance,
Loyalty takes time to grow,
It shows the admiration,
Of the ones that you support,
To be genuine and faithful,
Is not a second thought,
Within family that you love,
Relations or a close friend,
Honest and forthcoming,
Respectful sincerity with hope to never end,
Loyalty is most important in a relationship,
Between you & those you show emotion,
It means you will not cheat or lie,
A truest value of trust and devotion,
Not being loyal to each other,
Brings feelings that tip the scale,
Dishonesty, betrayal & deceit,
Which are deemed to make us fail,
To help someone through hard times,
And care for them regardless, no matter what,
To defend those closest to you,
With upholding dedication, you have to give a lot,
I have always been 100% loyal,
In every way to every soul,
Some have taken advantage of my commitment,
Yet still my heart is whole.

Honesty

One of the toughest values,
It is in society today,
Being able to be genuine,
With truth in what we say,
It shows your good morals,
Sincere openness & trust,
In honour to yourself,
And to others it’s a must,
We need to be accountable,
For things we do, good or bad,
Honesty is revealing your intentions,
Even if it makes someone sad,
We need it in a relationship,
In family & also friends we love,
Being dishonest with these people,
Brings hurt that is undreamed of,
If we do not lie,
Treat people how we’d like to be treated,
We shouldn’t need to hide,
To make someone feel cheated,
If we’re honest with ourselves,
And be fair to what we think,
As long it’s in a positive way,
Everyone can live in sync,
In the past I have not always been honest,
For good intentions I’ve kept secrets locked away,
I no longer believe I need to lie,
There’s no point, I would not stray.
Communication

Talking is using your words,
That lets others see,
The way you are feeling,
To let those troubles free,
Communication is the key,
To help each other understand,
We cannot second guess,
What the other person has got planned,
When you’re feeling down & having doubts,
And need to express yourself,
It’s better to have a difficult chat & a vent,
For theirs & your mental health,
When you encounter someone in need,
Who is struggling through,
Offer a helping hand & a good ear,
To help validate their feelings too,
If you haven’t got anyone to talk with,
I am always here,
Pick up the phone, call or message me,
I am always near,
Friend or not, it doesn’t matter to me,
I will help as best as I can do,
If it helps brighten your day,
Then that makes me happier too,
Don’t stay silent, angry or sad,
We can talk a little or a lot,
I’m happy to help anyone,
With me, a friend you have got.

Empaths have an ability that comes from within,
Help without question, offering selfless support for their sisters & brothers,
Feelings of every positive & negative vibe,
A heartfelt genuine connection to & for others,
Responds to experiences & concerns with compassion,
Engaging & sharing emotions in times of distress,
Sympathy & consolation to soothe pain & sadness,
Hearts of gold who do good things without a second guess,
A moral obligation showing authenticity,
Without ulterior motives or hidden games,
Unfortunately empaths can be prey for emotional vampires,
Forgiving & faithful, feeling joy & pain,
Cognitive empathy is thinking from others perspectives,
Emotional empathy is the connection to others to truly feel,
Compassionate empathy is the glue for these that we need to care,
These can be used against us, it’s just knowing if it’s genuine & real,
Known as sensitive people who like happy surroundings,
Empaths are usually quiet souls who listen to every word,
Usually wear their hearts on their sleeves,
And get emotionally tired from soaking up the world,
They get burnout on overload of positive feelings,
Overwhelmed & need to emotionally reset,
Always avoiding conflicts, fights & arguments,
They cut more deeply than others, which can cause upset,
As I’ve grown & experienced life & its challenges,
My soul has shown me my values to be true,
With a strong moral compass & being emotionally mature,
If you don’t abuse it I offer my empathy to you.

Honesty isn’t easy,
It challenges us every day,
But without it, trust is broken,
And respect slips away,
It’s about owning our actions,
The good, the bad, the flaws,
It’s standing by our choices,
And accepting what they cause,
In relationships it matters most,
With family, friends, and love,
Dishonesty creates a wound,
That’s hard to heal enough,
When we hide behind excuses,
Or say what isn’t true,
We damage not just others,
We weaken ourselves too,
If we refuse to lie,
And treat all hearts with care,
We’ll never need to hide ourselves,
Or leave another in despair,
When we leave someone in the dark,
Or fail to share what’s real,
It breaks the bond between us,
And weakens how we feel,
Be honest with yourself as well,
Stay true to what you think,
When guided by sincerity,
We live in harmony, in sync.
